![]() Daelan, Grimgnaw, even Tomi and co can be plenty dangerous if enemies are debuffed and CCd(and they are buffed Daelan with Haste is scary). I usually, and I use that term loosely as I don't play casters much at all, do not specialize as it unnecessarily (to me) bars me from using a school. Likewise, Abjuration has some of the most beneficial defensive spells. I don't know if they did that to balance power (some) or in a philosophical act to represent the powers that those mages focus in.Įvocation and Necromancy have (most of) the most damage producing spells, and a player can gimp himself if he were to remove his ability to cast them by specializing in an opposite spell school. Yet Conjuration is opposed by 3 and Illusion by 2. Nothing is opposed by Abjuration, Evocation or Necromancy.
